Dazzling Abu Dhabi & Dubai: Animesh’s Thrillophilia Trip Review

Dazzling Abu Dhabi & Dubai: Animesh’s Thrillophilia Trip Review

The two of us have always wanted to explore UAE - just the two of us, heading out on adventures and diving into memorable experiences.

So, after a bit of research, we landed on Thrillophilia and it was the best finding ever. Why? Because their itinerary had all the things that we wanted to do and explore - Ferrari World, the Burj Khalifa, you name it! No stress, just fun and exciting days ahead. It was the perfect choice, and I’m glad we went with them. Special thanks to Bhupeshwar Pal Singh and Tejash Gupta for ensuring a smooth and memorable experience. The whole trip was smoother than I expected, and we didn’t miss a thing!

The Dhow Cruise and the Marina Views

Our journey started with a Dhow Cruise, something we’d both been eagerly waiting for. Boarding the traditional wooden dhow felt like stepping into another world, with the lights of the marina reflecting off the water and the towering skyscrapers standing tall in the background. The scene was pure magic.

The dinner on the dhow was absolutely delicious. We had everything from grilled kebabs to fresh salads and even traditional Arabic desserts. As we ate, there was soft Arabic music playing, and the atmosphere was so romantic. We even got up to dance for a bit, laughing and twirling under the starry sky. It felt like the world had faded away, and it was just the two of us, enjoying each moment.

By the time the cruise ended, we were both in awe of the views we had just witnessed. Dubai at night was something we couldn’t have imagined, with the lights of the marina casting a beautiful glow over the water. It was a perfect start to our adventure.

The Burj Khalifa and the Aquarium Wonders

The next day, we woke up early to explore more of the city. We kicked things off with a visit to the famous Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. As soon as we entered the place, I felt like I was floating in the middle of an ocean. The aquarium tunnel surrounded us with colourful fish, giant stingrays, and even sharks swimming above and around us.

“Look at that giant shark! It's so close!” my partner gasped, her eyes wide with wonder.

I laughed, a bit nervous. "Yeah, I didn’t think they’d be this big!"

We spent a while in awe, watching everything from playful penguins to enormous turtles. Later that evening, we made our way to one of the world’s most iconic landmarks - the Burj Khalifa. Since we had tickets for the non-prime hours, we arrived after 7 PM, which worked out perfectly. The crowds were smaller, and the city views from the observation deck were spectacular. The lights of the city stretched as far as the eye could see, and the view was like nothing I had ever experienced before.

“Can you believe we’re standing this high up? It feels like we’re on top of the world,” I said, my voice filled with awe.

We stayed there for a while, just taking in the beautiful views and taking pictures. It felt surreal to be looking at a city from so high up. It was one of those moments we would always remember.

Ferrari World and the Dubai Frame Experience

Our next few days were filled with even more amazing experiences. One of the highlights was visiting Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. I had heard about the Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster, and I was both excited and a little nervous to try it. As soon as the ride started, my heart was racing, and I swear I could feel the wind in my hair - the speed was absolutely thrilling.

“Wow, I can’t believe we just did that! My heart is still pounding,” my partner said as we stumbled out of the ride, still in shock from the adrenaline.

I laughed, catching my breath. “That was insane! I don’t think I’ve ever gone that fast in my life.”

After we recovered, we spent some time exploring the other parts of Ferrari World. From go-karting to thrilling simulators, the entire place was packed with excitement. It was definitely an experience that lived up to the hype.

On our last day, we visited the Dubai Frame. Standing at the bottom of the giant structure, we couldn’t help but feel small in comparison. The frame itself was a sight to behold, and the views from the top were nothing short of mesmerising. We could look out over both the old and new parts of the city - on one side, we saw the traditional buildings and parks, while the other side had the modern skyscrapers of Dubai.

“This looks like the perfect way to end our trip,” I said, admiring the contrast between the old and new Dubai.

My partner smiled, “I can’t believe it’s over. I think we'll need to visit again soon to explore more.”

Dubai and Abu Dhabi had given us memories we would cherish forever, and I was already thinking about when we could return. It had been an incredible journey - one that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Special thanks to Bhupeshwar Pal Singh and Tejash Gupta for ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.
