A Tropical Escapade to Remember: Nirmit's Thrillophilia Review of Trip to Seychelles

We had no idea where to go for our honeymoon, but when Seychelles popped up on our radar, it just felt perfect. We researched a bit more, narrowed down our options, and that's when we found Thrillophilia.

The island honeymoon packages were exactly what we were looking for - beaches, wildlife, adventure, and relaxation all rolled into one. Booking with them made everything easy, and it turned out to be the best decision ever!

The Perfect Start to Forever

Right from the moment we stepped off the ferry in Praslin, the fantastic views caught us off guard. The water was clear and blue, and the palm trees were exactly how we pictured them on our way to the island.

Our first day was all about relaxing and getting into the calm ambience of the island. We walked along Cote d'Or Beach, which had soft, white sand that almost felt like powder underfoot. The beach wasn’t crowded at all, and the waves were gentle, perfect for a lazy swim. We spent some time just enjoying the beach and the quiet surroundings.

Later, we made our way to Anse Lazio, one of the most famous beaches on the island. The best part was that there were hardly any other people, so it felt like we had it all to ourselves. It was the ideal start to our honeymoon - relaxed, laid-back, and surrounded by natural beauty - just the way we wanted.

Exploring La Digue Island

The next day, we hopped on a ferry to La Digue, and I couldn’t wait to see what the island was like. We started with a visit to Anse Source d'Argent, which we had heard so much about. The beach was stunning with huge granite rocks scattered along the shore, and the water was crystal clear.

Both of us had a great time walking around the scenic island and snapped several photos. Next, we decided to take a short hike to Nid d'Aigle, the highest point on La Digue. The trail was a bit steep, but the panoramic views we got from the top were totally worth it. We could see all of La Digue and the surrounding islands - it was breathtaking. We found a rock to sit on, from where we enjoyed the view and reflected on how amazing the trip had been so far.

A Day of Island Adventures

On our third day, we decided to check out a few more islands. Our first stop was Cousin Island, which was extremely popular for its wildlife. We spent most of the morning walking around and watching the Hawksbill turtles in the water. We both loved how graceful they were, and it felt like we were in a nature documentary.

After Cousin Island, we moved ahead to Curieuse Island, famous for its giant tortoises. When we saw one up close, I couldn’t believe how big they were. We had a great time feeding them leaves, which was a surprisingly relaxing experience.

The day didn’t end there, though. We went snorkelling at St. Pierre Island, which turned out to be one of the best parts of the trip. The water was so clear, and we even swam alongside a school of bright yellow fish, which was a unique experience. The coral was vibrant, and it felt like we had entered a completely different world beneath the surface.

Wrapping it Up in Mahe

For the second half of our journey, we headed to Mahe, where we enjoyed a bit more sightseeing. First, we visited the Takamaka Rum Distillery, where we learned about the rum-making process, and of course, we got to try some of the rum at the end. The rum was actually really good, and we ended up buying a bottle to take home with us.

Next, we stopped by the Tea Factory, which was more interesting than I expected. We learned how the local tea is grown and processed, and we even tried some fresh tea. Later, we also visited the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens. We found some more giant tortoises there, and I couldn’t resist getting a picture with one. “They’re so chill, it’s as if they've got the most stress-free life ever,” my wife said, laughing as we both took turns petting them.

We ended the day by exploring the local market and picking up some souvenirs to remember the trip. Then, we spent our last moments on the island at Baie Lazare Beach. The beach was quiet, and it felt like the perfect spot to reflect on our trip.

This was the perfect honeymoon. Thrillophilia arranged everything perfectly and I couldn't have asked for more, and I know that we’d both carry the memories with us forever.

“Let’s promise to come back again,” I said, grinning.

“Our 1st anniversary isn’t that far off, you know,” my wife replied with a mischievous smile. We both laughed, imagining how soon we’d be back for another vacation in Seychelles!
