Prakash’s Tales of Laughter, Adventure, and Experience in the Land of the Gold

Zooming through the Dubai desert in ATVs, the big Indian group of 11 screamed at the top of their lungs while laughing hysterically. It was hard to tell what emotions they were feeling, perhaps a mix of many- fear, thrill, adrenaline rush, and fun!

As the cars rolled up the dunes and plunged down the other side, their laughter seemed to increase, and this went on for a good one hour before they climbed down the vehicles. Their hair was hither-tither, and they were clutching onto their hearts as if feeling the racing beats.

Now that it was time for them to take the camel ride, they seemed calmer. Their designated camels munched on dry grass while stomping on the sands before moving forward. And when they eventually took up the pace, the whole crowd of people felt the excitement of the ATV ride return… but in a lesser intensity.

They went over to the nearby oasis and watched the sky turn into shades of orange and red as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon. By the time dusk fell, they were back in their camps. Their jolly faces were lit up by the warmth and light of the bonfire as they settled to have a lavish dinner under the sky full of stars. It was a full moon night, and the whole desert shone in its silver glow.

It was a surreal experience for Prakash, his family and friends. Admiring the belly dancing and the Tanoura performances while digging into some delectable local dishes just made their Dubai holiday picture-perfect.

But this was just the start.

Abu Dhabi and its wonders

If you think of adventure and luxurious experiences, Abu Dhabi is THE place that comes to mind. This was the same for this group of travellers too! Therefore, they had planned their trip with Thrillophilia in such a way that they could enjoy the best of this place, as well as Dubai.

After visiting the Ferrari World and the Warner Bros, they went for an Abu Dhabi city tour which left them all gaping at the sheer magnificence of this destination. The skyscrapers truly scrapped the skies and their ceilings seemed higher than Gregorian vaults. Each building glistened like the water of an oasis, and every view spoke of nothing but elegance. This was the city of dreams, of luck, and of ambition.

And Prakash and his whole group were delighted to be here.

By the time the Abu Dhabi city tour ended, the evening charm of the city greeted them. The whole place looked like a mirage of lights, glimmering and glittering every inch of the skyline.

Everyone was fascinated by these sights, but the kids had their imaginations dwelling back to where they started their Abu Dhabi tour- the Yas Waterpark.

This waterpark had been a real-time representation of their wildest thoughts, with roller coasters and slides swirling down more than 100s of meters. They had a blast there, unlike any other waterpark they had ever visited before.

Alas, all good things must always come to an end.

But Dubai begged to differ.

Dubai and its marvels

The whole world knows about the Palm Jumeirah, and so did Prakash’s group. 

But what they did not know is that the monorail adventure there is one of a kind.

Swooshing through the middle of the Arabian sea from one end of the ‘palm’ to the other, was an exhilarating experience. It made them forget about the Skydeck experiences as well (for a moment).

After reaching the Lost Chamber in The Atlantis, they all were mesmerised by the diverse marine lives residing there. Through the water tunnels and across the massive water tanks, the group witnessed the beauty of the underwater world. They spotted pufferfish, sharks, dolphins, starfish, jellyfish, and whatnot!

But that was not it, they still had some more places waiting to shock them- the AYA universe and the Museum of the Future.

Both these places had cast a spell on them, they just could not stop talking about how it felt to be in that room where the World Wide Web seemed to entangle them, or the place where they predicted the advent of futuristic robots for doing household chores. In some instances, they even talked of being in the real sets of the film Avatar!

Their discussions were as unique as the places they visited, and in their heart, they were growing more and more fond of Dubai.

The Time for Gapes and Hawwws

Their experience of exploring the Miracle Garden, the Global Village, and the Dubai Frame was good. But what topped them all was the dhow cruise.

Gliding along the Dubai Marina and sipping on champagne, this group was just talking about how amazing their trip was going…when all of a sudden Prakash received a call from Mrigendra. 

As Prakash recalled the exact conversation - 

“Sir, we have a surprise planned for you for tomorrow. Be ready by 10 am, you will be escorted to the port.”
“Thrillophilia has outdone their services by offering us limousine rides for day tours. What else could possibly be in store for us anymore?”
“You will see tomorrow sir! Have a great night ahead!”

The next day, after reaching the port, their jaws dropped.

If humanly possible, they would have sunk lower than the decks.

There was a glowing white yacht waiting for them. A private one. For them. By Thrillophilia.

They took the ride, having champagne and basking in the sun, going over the Dubai coastline and taking a turn around the Burj Al Arab. It was simply magical.

The touch of salt to a perfectly seasoned salad

The tour of the Burj Khalifa observation decks and The View at the Palm were the traditional treats that are a must to enjoy in Dubai. And the group had visited them all.

In these few days, they had seen and experienced some of the best in the world. With top-class hotels and seamless travel arrangements, their trip was not only smooth but also full of extraordinary surprises. The dazzling skylines of Abu Dhabi and Dubai had marked a permanent place in all of their hearts, and for this, they will forever be grateful to Thrillophilia.
