He started his day by exploring the city on a sightseeing tour and the Tootbus ride took him to the stunning Grand Palace, where he admired its majestic architecture and lively atmosphere.

He also visited the Wat Maha Phruettharam Worawihan and the sacred place filled his heart with peace and he sat there for a while soaking in the positivity. Later, he explored the Gems Gallery, where he marvelled at the exquisite collection of fine jewellery and precious stones, learning about the history and craftsmanship behind each beautiful piece on display.

The next day, Rohan made his way to the Belgian Beer World, a must-visit for anyone interested in Belgium’s famous brews. The highlight of his day was the visit to Choco-Story, where he participated in a Belgian Chocolate Making Workshop. The experience was both delicious and informative, and of course, super chocolatey! Rohan’s time in Brussels was a perfect blend of culture, history, and indulgence.

The City of Ghent: History, Art, and Local Flavors

Rohan's time in Ghent was both relaxing and exciting. After checking into his hotel, he headed to the Kraanlei quay for a 50-minute Medieval Center Guided Boat Tour. Cruising along the river and admiring the city from a new perspective was quite surreal. The scenic canals took Rohan through the city and he loved the medieval architecture and the unique aesthetics of the city. The guide shared interesting stories about the city's past, giving Rohan a deeper appreciation for its rich history.

The next day, Rohan explored the city with a self-guided walking audio tour. The tour was super fun and informative as he visited iconic landmarks like Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo's Cathedral. Rohan was particularly struck by the impressive history and architectural design of the monuments. After his sightseeing, Rohan couldn’t resist tasting some local Ghent delicacies. He tried Waterzooi, a creamy chicken stew, and enjoyed the famous Ghent cuberdon candies, which were sweet and refreshing.

In the evening, Rohan visited the Museum of Fine Arts, where he admired masterpieces by artists like Bosch, Rubens, and Van Dyck. Each moment in Ghent was a mix of culture, history, and delicious food, making it an unforgettable experience for him.

It was a perfect way to experience Antwerp beyond the usual tourist spots.
