In June 2023, Shambhavy Singh, a software engineer from Amritsar, set out on an unforgettable family trip to the Himalayas, visiting Gangotri, Yamunotri, Rishikesh, and Badrinath. Every morning, they woke up to spectacular sunrises over the valley that painted the mountains in hues of gold and orange.

The best of the lot was undoubtedly Rishikesh where the family experienced the best stay of their trip. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all necessary amenities. This lively town brought together all the elements of a perfect holiday and the family was raving about the food as well, particularly the dinner. The vibrant energy of Rishikesh combined with luxurious accommodations, made it a fitting and joyful conclusion to their Himalayan adventure.

Travelling through the Himalayas also meant spending long hours on the road, but this part of the trip was far from tedious. The appointed driver played a crucial role in making their journey smooth and enjoyable. Driving a well-maintained Ertiga, he ensured their comfort by maintaining a clean vehicle, being punctual, and choosing the best routes to avoid traffic. He went one step ahead from being just a skilled driver and also acted as an informal guide, offering insights into local culture and pointing out landmarks throughout.

According to Shambhavy and her family, some of the most memorable days on this trip was the time spent visiting the five Prayags and the Dhari Temple. These sacred sites were steeped in history and spiritual significance, and the family felt a deep sense of connection as they explored them. The architectural beauty of the temple and the serene surroundings, left them in awe. The winding mountain roads were an adventure in themselves, offering spectacular views of cascading rivers, lush green valleys, and snow-dusted peaks.
